The Vaisala DM70D1B1A3B1 meter is suitable for direct process dew point measurement in a wide temperature and pressure range.
Vaisala DM70D1B1A3B1 is fitted with the Vaisala DRYCAP Sensor. The sensor provides reliable, stable and high-performance dew point measurement.
Autocalibration detects on-line possible measurement inaccuracies and automatically corrects dry-end drift in the calibration curve.
Three probe models, all with autocalibration, are available.
The A and B models are both general purpose probes.
The C model is specifically developed for SF6 gas. The B and C probe models have an additional Sensor Purge feature that heats and dries the sensor, making the response from ambient to dry conditions exceptionally fast.
DM70 has a versatile and easy-to-use, menu-based user interface, a clear graphical LCD display, and datalogging capability.
It can also be used as a tool for reading the output of fixed Vaisala dew point transmitters, such as DMT242, DMT132, DMT143, DMT152 and DMT340. DM70 displays one to three parameters at a time, either numerically or graphically.
Several humidity units can be selected. In addition, DM70 includes conversion from gas pressure dew point to ambient pressure dew point. An analog output is also available.
The optional MI70 Link Windows software and the USB connection cable form a practical tool for transferring logged data and real time measurement
Vaisala DM70D1B1A3B1 HUMICAP® humidity and DRYCAP® dew point sensors both feature good chemical tolerance.
However, sometimes the chemicals present in the measured gas can gradually change their performance. For these demanding applications Vaisala has developed chemical purge function, which helps to maintain measurement performance under chemical exposure.
Chemical purge helps to correct possible long-term drift and extends the required calibration interval in environments where gaseous chemical impurities are present. Hydrocarbon based solvents, cleaning chemicals and sterilizing agents are all chemicals with a tendency to penetrate the sensor. They all can be driven out using chemical purge. For chemical purge to work as planned, the temperature of the sensor needs to be below +100°C.
When temperature is above this limit, chemical impurities evaporate spontaneously, and chemical purge is not necessary. Chemical purge should always be performed before calibration or whenever there is a reason to believe that the sensor has been exposed to.
Chemical purge option is available in all Vaisala DRYCAP® dew point instruments and selectable in the following Vaisala HUMICAP® humidity instruments: HTM330 and HMT310 series transmitters; Vaisala DM70D1B1A3B1 hand-held meter, HMP155 probe, and HMM210 series modules.
When a new Vaisala humidity transmitter is ordered with the chemical purge option, the purge is set to start at regular intervals. This interval can be modified using a serial line command or from the product display/keypad.
Chemical purge can be set to run on startup. It can also be initiated manually or be turned off in case it is not needed.Show less -
